In the pattern of ‘Us and Them’ thinking there is dysfunction, there is suffering.

With colleagues, neighbours, friendships, families and others, when I see wrongness in them and make make myself right against that wrongness there can be judgment, perhaps fear, perhaps resentment, perhaps blame.

This pattern is a dysfunction in that it causes suffering. My blind spot is that I am part of the dysfunction.

In fact my ‘rightness’ perpetuates other’s ‘wrongness’ and this makes me blind.

I am: blind to alternate perspectives and blind to the experience of others, unable to find a pathway toward resolution. Unable to compassionately and collaboratively create solutions with the whole in mind.
